I am a graphic designer based in Guernsey, drawing inspiration from the island's charm. I enjoy creating visual stories and paying attention to the small details. Currently, I work as an integrated production artist at Specsavers, where I combine creativity with accuracy in my daily tasks. I like to keep things simple and focus on doing quality work.

In my time at Specsavers, I have produced work for a range of countries in multiple language. Currently, my main focus is on Nordic work for Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, and The Netherlands. This is mostly campaign work in the form of regular production work as well as pre-production. The large scale of these campaigns across so many countries keeps me busy for the majority of my time!
Other than Nordic work, I have had the opportunity to be part of some iconic UK campaigns as well as producing smaller bespoke artworks. The benefit of UK work is that I get to see a lot of it in use either online or in person. It's always quite exciting to see projects I was part of reaching so many people.
I have also been able to work on some fun proactive jobs such as personalised beer bottles for a co-workers anniversary or the Guernsey beach themed door posters. I initially pitched the idea of replicating vintage travel posters for the meeting room doors and I'm very please to see it come to life with everyones unique styles.
Over the last couple of years I have been able to gain several qualifications such as completing the SCA bootcamp in London and becoming an Adobe Certified Professional in InDesign, Photoshop, and Visual Design.

My Personal work
Outside of my job at Specsavers, I worked on a few projects in my spare time. This included creating a poster and props for a local Guernsey film called ‘Dare to Dream’. My biggest achievement during this time was winning Guernsey’s Platinum Jubilee flag competition in 2022. This gave me the opportunity to present my design to Prince Edward and the Countess of Wessex in person. My flag was also flown in central St Peter Port for several months.
As a freelance designer in 2020-2021, I was fortunate to have the States of Guernsey as one of my clients. I worked on projects such as the 75th Anniversary of Liberation Day logo, branding and merchandise. I have also done work around Beau Sejour leisure centre such as the signage for the cafe and posters and logo for their cinema.
Before returning to Guernsey to pursue a career in the creative industry, I studied Graphic Design at The Arts University Bournemouth. The highlight of my time at university was getting shortlisted for the 2018/19 RSA Student Design Awards.

Outside of work
Fencing was a big part of my life for many years. I competed in épée across various national and international competitions with the highlight being the Junior Commonwealth Fencing Championships in 2012. I'm also a level 1 qualified fencing coach in all three disciplines.
My other hobbies include surfing and sailing although mostly in the summer! If I'm ever somewhere nice enough, I'm a keen scuba diver and have a PADI Open Water qualification.
